With her haunting cries and beautiful plumage, common loons are an iconic symbol of the Northern Wilderness.

Join us at Tenney Library for "An Uncommon Look at the Common Loon," a slide show with live narration, exploring the natural history of loons in the North Country..

West Newbury based photographer Ian Clark spent over 2,200 hours kayaking with loons over the last eleven years.. Ian has taken over 300,00 photos of loons and their behaviors.

Tenney Library is accessible for all and everyone is welcome.

There will be refreshments.
