The Friends of the UVM Horticulture Farm present "Growing Fruit Trees in Vermont".
Fruit trees bring sweetness, beauty, and joy to our homes. Join Nicko Rubin of East Hill Tree Farm nursery to learn all about growing fruit trees. Nicko will share much of his knowledge about variety and rootstock election, soil and site considerations, and planting and long-term care.  Discussion will cover apples, pears, plums, cherries and peaches. Plenty of time will be given for your questions.

This program is presented by the Friends of the UVM Horticulture Farm and will take place at the UVM Horticulture Farm, 65 Green Mountain Drive, So. Burlington (behind Heritage Toyota on Shelburne Rd).

Presenter bio: Nicko Rubin owns and operates East Hill Tree Farm, nursery and demonstration farm for
fruit trees, nuts, and berry plants in Plainfield, VT. He provides edible landscape consultation, design, and
planting. He holds a master's degree in landscape design and land-use planning.
