An Outdoor Winter Clothing Give-away will take place at the Woodbury-Calais United Church on Saturday, November 8th from 9 a.m.—1 p.m. ** (The Big White Church in South Woodbury) The church is accepting donations throughout the months of September and October for this annual event which helps clothe many of our neighbors. Anyone is eligible to come and receive donations on the day of the event. There are no income guidelines; this is simply a re-distribution of much needed winter supplies within our community. Acceptable donations include new or used outdoor winter clothes, such as coats, jackets, snow– or ski– pants, mittens, gloves, hats, scarves or boots, along with warm sweaters and sweatshirts. Please no soiled clothing. Donations can be dropped off on the covered side porch of the South Woodbury Church building anytime (go through the fenced in play yard); or bring them inside on Friday, November 7th from 5 – 7pm.
