UVM Extension Master Gardeners and Waterbury Common Market are hosting a FREE Container Gardening Workshop with Tomatoes this Saturday, June 22 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at The Garden at the Waterbury Common Market.

Come learn how to grow food in small spaces on a budget. We will teach you the basics of growing vegetables and herbs in containers. No gardening experience or supplies are required! Open to everyone in the community.

Thanks to the generosity of local farmers and home gardeners, we have a surplus of tomato plant starts at the Waterbury Common Market. We will pot up and give away free tomato plants to participants. BYOB: Bring Your Own Bucket, Bag, or Pot. We will have extra containers to give away if you don't have your own.
