Join the Green Mountain Club and Brighton Recreation for a guided hike on one of the area's beautiful trails. Some hikes will lead to summits, some will meander through forests and along streams and ponds. There is something for every hiking ability and it's a great family day.
Sign up for hikes between 8:30 am and 9 a.m. at the Brighton Pavilion; there is a limit of 10 people per hike. We will carpool to trailheads from the Pavilion.
We all love our pets and most of our pets like hiking, but due to the number of participants expected and the presence of obstacles like cliffs and wildlife, our furry friends might be better off hiking another day. We are not recommending pets on any of the hikes. Only service animals will be allowed on the trails.
Planned hikes are to Gore Mountain, Middle Mountain, Bluff Mountain, Council Point, Moose Bog, North Branch and the River Walk. All hikes will be lead by people who are know the trails.
