Hooked on Rugs Silent Auction, Friday, June 21st, 2024 - Saturday, August 31st, 2024. The Henry Sheldon Museum is exhibiting 30 beautiful, hooked rugs that were handmade by longtime Sheldon Museum staff and community member, Suzanne Douglas. After her sudden passing in January 2024, her friends and family have generously donated her rugs to the Sheldon Museum as a fundraiser. All bidding will take place in-person at the Museum or people can phone in their bid by calling 802-388-2117. Bidding opens on Friday, June 21st at 4:30pm and closes on Saturday, August 31st at 12pm. Shipping is available. The rugs are available for view on the Museum website at https://www.henrysheldonmuseum.org/hookedrugs. The online gallery includes size, starting bid and rug condition. Bidding is welcome in $50 increments.
