The Salisbury Conservation Commission has organized a walk with retired Fish and Wildlife botanist Bob Popp on Sunday, June 23rd from 9-12. The walk will be on the Pitch Pine Trail on Plains Road in Salisbury. Bob has a career's worth of knowledge and experience with Vermont trees, shrubs, vines, flowers, ferns, and other plants. The Pitch Pine Trail is approximately 1.7 miles long and is relatively flat with two small climbs.
The walk is free and open to the public, but it will be limited to the first 15 people to register.
If you would like to join this walk, contact Jim Andrews at jandrews@VtHerpAtlas.org or call 802-352-4734.
