Over the last 2 centuries there were 4 active quarries on the mountain, looking for the unique green granite. Hike w the State Park Interpreter to the little known Enright Quarry. It's an off-trail, 3 mile round trip exploration into history and geology. Moderate difficulty.
Meet at the parking lot across the road from the Park's main gate at 10am.
