Can Jericho support a Community Garden? What does a successful Community Garden look like? Join Transition Town Jericho Team at the Jericho Community Center meeting room, June 24th 6-7:30 pm where the Director of Sustainable Woodstock, a nonprofit based in the Upper Valley, will share information about the various Community Garden initiatives they run.

Executive Director Jenevra Wetmore will share information about their two community gardens, which are open to residents and have plots dedicated to growing for the local food shelf. They will also present on their work to build raised beds in low-income communities, and their Grow Your Own Garden Program (GYOG), which provides free seeds and seedlings to local families every spring.

The Town of Jericho, Mobbs Park, has made a space available in Jericho, is their interest in using that space for a Community Garden?
