If you liked the recent total sun eclipse, you'll be happy to read that there is another - almost as important although less rare - event of cosmic proportions happening this Sunday, June 16, 3 pm, at the Switchback Brewery: Bad Accent (Music) is playing. Ticket prices are a bit expensive - around zero +/- a draft - but if you get them in advance, they are significantly less. Bad Accent is locally sourced (very locally, we almost named the band the Lyman Four Plus Two), organic, table to farm and back band. The kind of music is generally known as working class hard folk, and if you don't like it, the visuals may make up for it: our front desk performers know how to interpret the moves of tango, rock and roll or burlesque in a fairly family friendly entertainment style (except for two songs - Hungarian Drag Queen and Naked Nurse. If we play those, we can offer maple dipped earplugs to the little ones and other distractions away from the stage). Anyway, show up.
