Special Fall Art Class at Carpenter-Carse Library
Sundays, September 29, 2-5 pm and October 6, 2-5 pm
Presented by Talented Local Artist Laurel Clement Fulton

"Empowering Expression in Oil Painting"
Part One: Accessing Source
Part Two: Integrating Techniques

This class will begin with guided meditation as a centering platform from which the oil painting techniques can be explored. The two disciplines have a beautiful relationship when combined authentically: The meditation connects us to our deeper level of personal choice/freedom outside of our reactive/judgmental thinking (sympathetic nervous system), while the oil painting techniques will give added support to expressing this voice from a peaceful, clear and empowered place.
This two part workshop is an opportunity to learn from an amazing artist. Painters and non-painters welcome! We are thrilled to have Laurel share her creativity at our library.

A $10 .00 donation for materials is requested. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket.

To register for the 2 sessions, call the library: 482-2878. Class size is limited to 10.
