Juneteenth is all about what we didn't know. Why didn't we know it? They weren't telling us. Most folks still believe that Vermont was the first state to abolish slavery. It's a myth. We we're one of the latest in 2022.
We discovered a few things during the process of abolishing slavery in Vermont and in the spirit of Juneteenth we'll tell you the things that we discovered that you probably didn't know.
