Public Forum on Special Education Services:
The Bennington Rutland Supervisory Union (BRSU) formed a Special Education Task Force whose purpose is to study and make recommendations to the Director of Student Services for complying with Act 153. Act 153 is a Vermont law requiring that supervisory unions be responsible for special education services. The Task Force is interested in community feedback regarding our current special education programs, and ideas for future programming. Members of the community, local educators, parents of students receiving special education services, and interested parties, are encouraged to attend this brief presentation followed by public comment.
