Jun 25, 2024, 4:30 to 7:30 PM

Join the Vermont Sierra Club and Fluidly Moving Body in conjunction with Mind, Heart, Muscle on a casual bike ride from Joe's Pond to St. Johnsbury along the Lamoillle Valley Rail Trail.

We will meet at Joe's Pond Park and Ride and bike from there to St Johnsbury(11 miles) and back. This ride will be on a dirt road with a couple of small hills. This is an intermediate-level ride, and those riding e-bikes are welcome. If you are interested in doing the trip in only one direction please message robb.kidd@sierraclub.org to arrange for a possible shuttle back from St. Johnsbury back to Joe's Pond.

The outing will be led by Anita Hoy of Fluidly Moving Body Works along with Robb Kidd, Sierra Club Conservation Program Manager. Fluidly Moving Body Works is a unique health and fitness center specializing in helping people achieve their goals using a combination of personal training and wellness coaching. Their approach is tailored to each individual and they work with clients of all ages and abilities.

The Sierra Club is campaigning to address transportation's role in contributing to climate. Our vision is to have a transportation system that is accessible, affordable, and equitable. Making Vermont's roads safe for bikes and pedestrians Vermont can reduce single occupancy vehicle miles traveled and therefore reduce carbon emissions.
