The Capital City Band will open its 2024 season with a free concert on Wednesday from 7 PM-8 PM. This year, we will be playing on the Green at Vermont College, 36 College Street in Montpelier. The band has been playing community concerts for the city of Montpelier for over 150 years.
All are welcome! Bring the kids to play and dance around—bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on the Green! Bring a blanket and chairs and come enjoy some march classics, Broadway showtunes, modern and classical pieces!
The band also welcomes new members. If you play a band instrument, bring it to the concert along with a music stand and chair so that you can play along.
