The Johnson Beautification Committee and the Johnson Rail Trail Committee invite anyone who plays a parenting role (in any shape or form) and kiddos to help us build 7 community picnic tables on Sunday, June 16, at 1:30 p.m. on Audibert Green (formerly called the Village Green) at 2 Lower Main Street East.
No experience is necessary, and all ages and gender expressions are welcome! Only violent weather will cancel this event.
We'll have pre-cut picnic table kits, assembly instructions, and some tools available. Please bring your hammers, drills, and work gloves if you have them.
Not into building, but want to participate in a community give-back project? Members of the Beautification Committee will be there to lead rock painting and gardening projects!
