The 2024 Deb Beckett Memorial 5K Run and Walk, sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club and Williston Recreation and Parks, will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Williston Village Community Park. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.

This year will also feature both a ½ mile and a 1-mile Kids Run for children 4-12 years of age. Children may opt to enter the 5K run or walk or either of the Kids Runs. There are no fees or pre-registration for the Kids Runs. An adult must accompany each child to the race site and sign a registration form. The accompanying adult is welcome but not required to run with their child or children. Arrangements have been made for adults to run with and supervise the kids.

Check-in for all events opens at 7:00 AM. Please check in as early as possible. There will be signage from Williston Road to the registration/start area.

Kids Run participants and accompanying adults should arrive at the park for check-in no later than 7:30 AM for an 8:00 AM start of the 1 mile and an approximately 8:05 AM start of the 1/2 mile Run. 5K walkers should arrive at the park for check-in no later than 7:45 AM for an 8:15 AM start. 5K runners should arrive at the park no later than 8:15 AM for an 8:45 AM start.

Pre-registration for the 5K Run/Walk will be available online beginning May 1, 2024 at the Williston Recreation and Parks website: http://www.willistonrec.org. The deadline for pre-registration is June 16, 2024.

Pre-registration is $25 for participants 17 years and older and $15 for those 16 and under. Pre-registered walkers and runners are guaranteed a race shirt and water bottle.

On-site registration is $30 for participants 17 years and older and $20 for 16 and under. Shirts and water bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
