Brotchman is a dynamic singer/songwriter. He has shared stage with numerous musical mainstays like Crosby Stills & Nash and others but his most treasured compliment came from the lips of Pete Seeger following their duet of Brotchman's anti war anthem "No War No More" in Grand Central Station. Pete simply looked Brotchman in the eyes and said "that's a goooood song!" Brotchman, now from Wells, VT, grew up and cut his teeth on the Boston music scene. He studied for years with renowned jazz guru Charlie Banacos. He has performed for a president, at concert venues, house concerts, and corner bars. He will tell you It is his mission in life to offer joy through music.
Brotchman will be performing solo with his guitar. His performances and original songs feature catchy, tune-virus quality melodies, thoughtful lyrics, vocal harmonies (ensemble) and shifting instrumentation. He is an eclectic songwriter & performer who entertains as well as communicates. You will hear folk, rock, jazz, blues and country influences throughout his set list. Many of his melodies are infectious. He will touch you with lightweights and may knock you over with substantive songs of conscience. Brotchman's tunes will make you move, feel, think and won't leave you alone the next day, maybe longer!
