It's one week away…. Join the Colchester Cemetery Advisory Board and VT Old Cemetery Association on Saturday, June 15th, 8am to noon. We will be resetting and repairing monuments at Colchester's oldest and first cemetery, Munson Cemetery.
We will provide tools, snacks and drinks and a place to sit in the shade when needed. You bring your excitement and energy along with work gloves, comfortable shoes, a water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen and you may want to bring a kneeling pad.
You can help with:
• getting your hands dirty & digging
• heavy lifting, capable of at least 50lbs
• landscaping
• monument cleaner, there are just a few to be cleaned
• runner or gopher
• drinks & snacks and sign-in table
• historical recording of events
• parking help
