After four years as our amazing Assistant Librarian, Mackenna Lapierre is moving on to new adventures in North Carolina. Many of you may have worked with her to receive an interlibrary loan or to get help with finding a book or printing from your phone. Her professionalism and friendly, can-do attitude made her a pleasure to work with and a gem for our patrons. If you can, please drop by on Thursday, June 13th from 3:430-4:30 to say goodbye and wish her well as she moves to her next stage of life (including getting married in July:)! ). You can also meet and welcome Bianca Caputo, our new Assistant Librarian who started this week. Bianca has extensive customer service experience, and is learning the details of behind-the-scenes library work from Mackenna for 2 weeks. I will miss Mackenna, and at the same time am thrilled to have found Bianca to be our new Assistant Librarian. I hope you can join us.
