Mark your calendars for June 8-9, the Friends' first 2024 book sale on the lawn. The sale features music (sheet music, books, and CDs), small paperbacks, children's picture books, youth readers, and a variety of hardcover books. Help us find new homes for these gems, while raising money for library programming: a win-win proposition! (In case of inclement weather, the sale will be in the library's main reading room.) Can't make the sale? Check out the monthly special topics bookshelves near the library circulation desk. This month features books on science and engineering, nature (Bears, Birds, the Arctic, etc.), the environment, chemical and electrical engineering, and more. In addition, the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library will benefit from two community initiatives this month:
-Rally for Change Partner
When you shop at City Market in June and round up your purchase, the Friends will receive 40% to help support library programming.

-Hannaford Bloomin'4 Good
Throughout the month of June, when you purchase a Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker at the Hannaford's on North Avenue in Burlington, the Friends will receive a $1 donation for every bouquet. Surprise someone with a bouquet this month and help support the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library!

We're thrilled to announce, in collaboration with August First Bakery, yet another way to support your local library. Next time you stop by August First for a delicious bite to eat, check out our two shelves of books available for purchase via Venmo donation. As always, all proceeds go toward supporting the mission of the Fletcher Free Library.
