Would you like to Save Money, be more Comfortable, and Help the Environment?
If so, you should spend a few minutes on Saturday, June 15, at the Town Hall in Manchester, VT.
From 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM, there will be several non-profit agencies, along with local businesses, to explain and demonstrate how to save money, and live more comfortably, by using less energy.
The Manchester Energy Committee is happy to announce that our second annual Energy Fair will take place on Saturday, June 15, inside Town Hall, in the Kilburn Meeting Room. You will be able to talk with folks from the Heat Squad about home energy audits; with folks from Window Dressers about low cost/highly effective storm window inserts; with folks from BROC Community Action about their programs to help pay for needed home improvements; and with folks from GMP about rebates for electric cars, water heaters, heat pumps, and much more.
Your questions about cold climate heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps can be answered. Experts in solar panels, heat pump hot water heaters, wind energy, induction stove-tops & other energy saving appliances will be available to explain and/or demonstrate the technology. Also, come to learn what is actually able to be recycled, as well as ideas for reducing plastic waste, and ideas for growing food using the principles of regenerative agriculture.
* Thanks to their generosity, a gift certificate for $100 from r.k.Miles will be raffled at the Fair.
*Attendees also have a chance of getting a free "Octopus Kite" while supplies last.
Plan to attend the Energy Fair on Saturday, June 15, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Town Hall. For questions about the Fair, call Carl Bucholt at 802-362-4619.
