Friends of Green River Reservoir Presents:

The Birds of Green River Reservoir

Friday, October 24th at 7PM

At Lamoille Union and Green Mountain Tech Center in Hyde Park.

Join Charlie Browne, Director Emeritus of the Fairbanks Museum, as he delves into the mysteries of bird survival strategies from keeping warm during the winter to rearing young in their natural environment.
Understanding what these easily observable behaviors mean to our feathered friends will deepen our knowledge and appreciation of their unique biology, annual rhythms of activity, and reproductive strategies

Charlie is a longtime officer of the Northeast Kingdom Audubon Society and a dynamic speaker. Over the past 35 years he has taught workshops in ornithology and ecology for audiences ranging from pre-schoolers to graduate students.

The Friends of Green River Reservoir is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to preserving the wilderness like character of Green River.
