While summer is over and fall foliage is beginning to fade, it is time to settle down for the warm flavors of winter soups and breads, gathering quietly with friends, and celebrating the harvest! Great local foods and crafts abound in the Islands, even during the winter months. The Champlain Islands Farmers’ Market will open their Winter Market season on October 25, with local vegetables, delicious preserved foods, fresh baked goods, artisan crafts, and more! Spend a morning at the market- a sweet treat for breakfast, a meander through the stalls, and chance to catch up with friends. The Winter Market takes place on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm, on the following dates: October 25, November 8, November 22, December 6, and
