St. Andrew's Church, St. Johnsbury, in partnership with Catamount Arts, will host the third in the "Community Sing" series on Sunday June 23rd from 3 to 4:30 pm. There is no admission fee, but donations will be gratefully received to cover the cost of the facility.
Community Sings bring people of all ages and skill levels together to create beautiful music. There are no expectations for this fun, energetic event other than to create a marvelous, joyful noise. No experience is necessary and the only prerequisite is a love of music and song. This "Songs of the 60's" Community Sing will feature favorites from The Temptations, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Peter, Paul & Mary, The Monkees, Neil Diamond, The Mamas & The Papas, and more, with Choral Director Alan Rowe as our song leader.
Come join your neighbors, friends, and the friends you haven't met yet in this community event and leave with your toes tapping and a smile on your face. If you'd like, bring something to share for a potluck snack and social time afterwards.
