Want to hone your wood splitting skills and help your neighbors?
The Craftsbury Energy Committee is hosting it's annual "Firewood Processing Bee" where community members get to cut, split, and load firewood for income-limited households in our local towns.
When: Saturday June 8th and June 15th
Where: Craftsbury Dustan Field parking lot
Time: 8:30AM - 1PM
This Community Firewood program provides a cord of wood to a number of households across the local communities of Albany, Craftsbury, Glover, Greensboro, Hardwick and Wolcott. The Processing Bee is a way to add community energy to the firewood, providing neighbors with extra warmth this Winter.
As a thank you for the volunteers, pizza will be served at noon!!!
