They're everywhere!

They can can poison soils, cause streambank erosion, and crowd out native plants. They can also destroy biodiversity and reduce and alter wildlife habitats.

If you would like to learn more about these noxious weeds and other invasive species including ways to identify and effectively eliminate them, please join in a free "walk and talk" seminar with Lars Lund from the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources. This program is being presented by the Wallingford Conservation Commission and will be held at Stone Meadow Park on Waldo Lane in Wallingford, Saturday June 8th from 10am-12pm.
