Seniors & Bicycling 101 Workshop

This two-hour workshop will be taught by a certified cycling instructor and cover safe cycling principles and other tips to help you prepare for a smoother ride. Topics will include lane positioning, e-bikes, bike fit and other gear tips. The on-bike portion is designed to address cycling basics like shifting and braking, or assist participants with getting back on the bike after time out of the saddle. More experienced riders can enjoy a group ride with their classmates. Hosted by Newport Downtown Development, the class is free and RSVP is requested (or questions can be directed) to: NCDD.events@gmail.com or reply to this announcement. Bring your bike or just join for the first hour classroom portion.
