Join us for a special Storytime in celebration of our newest federal holiday. Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the day when the last group of enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas, received the news that they were emancipated by executive decree. Designed for children ages 0-5 with their caregivers and siblings, the program will include Juneteenth-themed picture books and crafts.
