Spotted lanternfly and Tree-of-Heaven inventory –Living Memorial Park, Brattleboro, June 15th 11:00 – 2:00
Come join the Tree-of-Heaven Scavenger Hunt! With established populations just over the border in Massachusetts spotted lanternfly is close to Southern Vermont and could easily travel up 91 or the railroad corridor to establish here. We'll start the day reviewing how to identify spotted lanternfly and its favorite host, the invasive Tree-of-Heaven, and learning about the Tree-of-Heaven Early Detection Community Science project. Participants will receive spotted lanternfly traps to put up and monitor on their property. We hope everyone will sign up for an area to look for Tree-of-Heaven. Time and weather permitting, we will hunt for Tree-of-Heaven at some nearby locations.
Registration ends June 8th Register Here: https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=WHcXHGtN3EOq6zucQlYpZ9nugR8WeCNAv9e29zxk[...]y4u
