This Saturday, October 25th, the Green Mountain Youth Symphony is holding a Playathon fundraiser – 10 hours of continuous live music in downtown Montpelier at Christ Episcopal Church (64 State Street).
The music and fun starts at 9am and runs until 7pm that evening. There is also a soup & bread lunch available to purchase from 11am-1pm and baked goods will be available for sale all day – or until they disappear!
The public is invited to come listen to the free music provided by kids from our community, or drop in for a bite to eat.
GMYS musicians have been collecting pledges for the Playathon. The money raised will support GMYS programs and the scholarship fund. No student is turned away for inability to pay tuition.
