How many times have you had trouble finding employees, getting funding for development, struggling with advertising your business or concerned about what regulations might help or hinder your business? Well, your hard-working Vernon Planning and Economic Development Commission is coordinating with Guilford's Planning Commission to come up with solutions for you and local businesses in several areas including communication, visibility, and local availability.
On Saturday June 8, 2024, from 9 am to 11am Guilford and Vernon will host a Business Breakfast at the Broad Brook Community Center in Guilford, all local businesses are invited to attend and network with other business leaders and local board members, with the following presentations.
Adam Grinold, Executive Director of the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC is a private, nonprofit economic development organization that fosters industrial and commercial growth throughout Southeastern Vermont) will discuss topics including BDCC's programs that provide managerial, technical, regulatory, and/or financial support to local businesses; opportunities for businesses to connect with local youth via its Pipelines and Pathways Program; and its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Southern Vermont.
