Jun 1, 2024, 10 to 11 AM

In conjunction with the Emile Gruppe Gallery's current exhibit of needle art, the Green Mountain Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America will be hosting a talk by Kris Andrews on Japanese Embroidery. Please join us this Saturday at the Gallery on Barber Farm Road in Jericho to learn about the traditions and techniques of this beautiful art.

Kris Andrews has been working and teaching in the fiber arts world for over twenty years. She enjoys teaching classes in a variety of techniques, including surface embroidery, hardanger, stumpwork, mixed media art quilting, and goldwork and is a certified Instructor in Japanese Embroidery. For the past four years Kris has worked with her local library, introducing kids (and their parents) to the joys of needlework and making things with their hands.
