Mark your calendars for Saturday June 8, 2024 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m.
World Wide Knit in Public Day started nineteen years ago! Google it. You'll be surprised! It started out as a way to help keep the tradition of knitting alive, but has grown to include all kinds of fiber work --- including, but not limited to --- knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, rug hooking, all kinds of embroidery, even the raising of fiber-producing animals and plants, and making dyes to produce an infinite assortment of colors for those fibers!
Heart of Hancock Restaurant has graciously agreed to be a host site in Vermont for folks to gather and enjoy their fiber craft of choice in public! Please feel free to join us on SATURDAY, JUNE 8th, from 1:00 to 3:00, and enjoy the fiber craft of your choice. We'll sit on a quintessential Vermont porch, doing something we love! If you're just curious, stop and chat. We love sharing our passion and want to hear about yours!
