Guest Harpist Musician on June 2 at 10 AM at First Presbyterian Church Barre

Rebecca Kauffman, harpist, will be our guest musician on Sunday June 2, 2024. She will play the prelude and postlude, and she will accompany the choir on the anthem "All Things Bright and Beautiful." This will be the choir's last appearance until the fall.

Rebecca is currently the principal harpist with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra in Harrisburg, PA. Known for her full rich tone, she has appeared in concert with various local chamber music organizations, including Solaris and Bella Voce with whom she has recorded. Rebecca has also collaborated with many artists, including internationally renowned flutist Eugenia Zuckerman. In 2012, Rebecca released her debut solo harp recording "Harp…On the Edge of Softness," which features both virtuosic harp pieces and traditional piano compositions she transcribed for the harp.

Everyone is cordially invited to attend this musical celebration during worship service on June 2, 10 am at FPC on 19 Seminary Street.
