Want to understand VT's "30 by 30" initiative? Come to the Northern Rivers Land Trust Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 9th at 4PM at the Mountain View Country Club in Greensboro. All are welcome.

Hannah Phillips, State Lands Administration Program Manager, Division of Lands Administration and Recreation for the Agency of Natural Resources, will provide an overview of the Community Resilience and Biodiversity Protection Act (the 30x30 initiative). She will explore the diversity of conservation approaches necessary to protect 30 percent of Vermont's lands by 2030 and 50 percent by 2050. Achieving these goals will require continued human commitment, vision ,and collaboration.

Hannah began working at the VT Forest, Parks, and Recreation Department in 2019, bringing prior career experience in land conservation, ecology, research in forested headwater wetlands, and science education. In her role at FPR, she coordinates the policy and process guiding management of all lands owned by the Agency of Natural Resources, including the long-range management planning process and the development of ANR land management policies.
