Canfield Library Brings No Strings Marionettes to Arlington

For the start of the Martha Canfield Library's Summer Reading Adventure the well-known No Strings Marionette Company will be in Arlington on Saturday, June 15 for a workshop and performance. The make-your-own-puppet workshop will be held at the Martha Canfield Library, where you can drop in any time between 11:00 and 12:30. In the afternoon a performance of "The Treasure Hunt" will be at the Arlington Commons at 2:00. "The Treasure Hunt" tells a swashbuckling adventure as Jim is lured out to sea, when a wild ocean storm hits, and his underwater odyssey begins. Jim learns that the ocean and all its inhabitants are threatened by pollution poured in the water from above. See if Jim can convince his people to take better care of the waters so that creatures above and below can live in harmony.
