Gary Shattuck, author of Insurrection, Corruption & Murder in Early Vermont will discuss and sign copies of his new book, which explores the infamous raid by Federal authorities on the smuggling boat the Black Snake. An open house and tours of the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration will precede the program, beginning at 4pm. Shattuck’s talk is scheduled for 6pm. This event is free and open to the public.

Take exit 9 to U.S. Route 2. Turn right at the yield sign and proceed west on Route 2. Midway down the hill turn, right into the driveway of our facility, located directly behind the Vermont State Police Barracks. Look for the Open House signs.
