Learn the basic methods and materials for making your own krauts, kvass, kimchi and other 'live cultured' vegetable foods for winter storage and health. This introductory class, taught by educator, herbalist and whole-foods chef Emily Wheeler will include demonstration and samples.
The class will be held at the Tulsi Tea Room on Elm Street in Montpelier on Thursday, November 6 from 6:30-8 pm. Class costs $10 per person or $7 if registered in advanced. To register or for more information, call the Tea Room at 223-1431.
