The first presentation in the Forestry and Conservation summer lecture series is tonight at 7PM at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Liz Thompson (Independent Ecologist and Co-author of Wetland, Woodland, Wildland: A guide to the natural communities of Vermont) will provide an overview of what old forests are and what makes them unique.
