Join Slate Valley Trails and the Rutland County Audubon Society for weekly bird walks in the Poultney area, on the trails of the SVT system, Tuesdays at 7:30 am. All levels of birding experience are welcome. Bring water and a snack, binoculars, cameras, or field guides, if you have them. The walks are at a slow pace with lots of opportunities for observing & photographing: 3 to 4 miles, 3 to 4 hours.

The next walk is Tuesday, May 28 – Delaney Woods. Enter East Delaney Cross Road off North Street in Wells, across from the Lakeside Park, and look for the parking area on the right. Meet at 7:30 AM. Easy to Moderate terrain, 2.5 miles. This will be the last walk of the Spring series. Have a great summer of birding, see you in the Fall!
