As you might know, the Goddard campus is currently under contract to be sold to property developer Patrick Malone, of Malone Properties. To sample his work, please visit the commercial through-way on the 302 between Barre and Montpelier. The current Goddard president and board have completely lacked transparency around the sale, and are seeking to privatize the college's estate without a clear guarantee that groups and projects there can continue to operate or any level of community and alumni involvement.

Folks are having an event to try to shed some light on what's happening and how the campus might be able to be kept for community-friendly developments. Come on down for a community potluck, speakers, art, and some music and help resist the privatization of the commons.
