The Rutland Regional Planning Commission, along with the AARP and the Rutland Area Physical Activity Coalition, will conduct a walk through Danby Village on Thursday, Oct 23 to survey walking conditions, speed zones, street signage, crosswalks and more. All interested parties are invited to participate.

The group will convene at 34 South Main St at 1:30 to begin the walk. At 3:45 pm, findings and recommendations will be presented in the Historical Society meeting room (basement of library).

The survey will help provide information as agencies work with Danby town officials to applaud or improve healthy, safe, supportive town infrastructure.
