Shidaa Projects Cultural Summer Camp

Shidaa Projects is excited to hold its 2nd Annual Cultural Summer Camp August 12 – August 15 with extended hours, from 8:30am – 3:30 pm daily. Activities will include West African Drumming & Dance lessons, tie & dye, block printing with African Adinkra Symbols, beading, cooking, games and other African arts.

Our camp is hosted by the First Congregational Church of Berlin at 1808 Scott Hill Road where we have ample indoor and outdoor space for all our activities.

We welcome campers age 8 and up, the cost is $280 for the full camp experience.

This project is made possible through generous donations from the National Endowment for the Arts and 802 Cars.
