The Country for a Cure benefit concert raises money to support the work of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Enjoy the sweet tunes of Dalton & the Sheriffs, a quintet out of Boston known for their country and folk sounds, and help us raise money for a good cause.
Country for a Cure started as a way for one local family to support a cause that is close to their hearts. When one of three brothers was diagnosed with lymphoma, their family began the challenging journey of facing this disease and treatment together.
They are happy to say that Sam is now coming up on four years in remission after receiving a stem cell transplant in the summer of 2020. He is beyond grateful for the care he received and the community of people who rallied to support him and his family during his treatment. Sam and his brothers created Country for a Cure to help support other families facing leukemia and lymphoma.
Sam is a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Visionaries of the Year" recognition this year. His goal is to raise $100,000 which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding goal: a world without blood cancers. All proceeds from this event go toward meeting Sam's goal!
Regular admission tickets are $50. VIP tickets, which include two drink tickets and raffle entry, are $100.
