Join your River Steward, Kathy Urffer, and Water Way(s) director, Erin Maile O'Keefe, along with Charles Soucy and our friends from Connecticut River Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited for angling along the Whetstone Brook. We will provide some fishing poles (or bring your own) and delicious donuts made by Paradox Pastry. Come discover the abundance of trout in the Whetstone, try your hand at fly or reel fishing and learn about the impacts of climate change on our fish populations. Bring your favorite humans and morning beverage for this sweet gathering at one of our newest recreational access areas along the Whetstone Brook!

Oh, and bring a comfy camp chair, too.

This event is FREE, but we ask that you register (https://www.ctriver.org/event-details/angling-donuts) so we order enough donuts and bring enough fishing poles. We'll have fishing lessons and poles for adults and kids!
