SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
OFFICIAL WARNING
JUNE 11, 2024

The legal voters of the Town of Wolcott, Vermont, are hereby notified and
warned to meet at a Special Meeting of the Town at the Wolcott Town Offices
on Railroad Street in the Town of Wolcott, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024,
between the hours of eight O'Clock (8:00) in the forenoon (a.m.), at which time
the polls will open, and seven O'Clock (7:00) in the afternoon (p.m.), at which
time the polls will close, to vote by Australian ballot upon the following Article
of business:

ARTICLE 1

Shall the voters authorize the design, construction, and installation of a
community wastewater disposal system within the Village of Wolcott at
a total estimated project cost of Four Million Ninety Five Thousand and
00/100 Dollars ($4,095,000.00) (the "Project") and the issuance of
general obligation bonds or notes of the Town in an amount not to
exceed One Million One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand and 00/100
Dollars ($1,165,000.00), subject to reduction by State and federal funds
then available to the Town, if any, to pay for the Project and for related
expenses?
The legal voters of the Town of Wolcott are further notified that voter
qualification, registration, and absentee voting relative to said Annual Meeting
shall be as provided in Chapters 43, 51 and 55 of Title 17, Vermont Statutes
Annotated.
The legal voters of the Town of Wolcott are further notified that the
Selectboard will hold a public informational meeting on Tuesday, June 4, 2024,
at the Wolcott Elementary School gymnasium in the Town of Wolcott beginning
at six O'Clock in the afternoon (6:00 P.M.), for the purpose of explaining the
Project and the financing thereof.
