On Nov. 14th, COVE (Community of Vermont Elders) will be having its annual fundraising raffle. Only 150 tickets will be sold at $100 each and the top prize is $3,000 with other prizes totaling $1,900! Each ticket includes two dinners that evening, but you don’t have to be present to win. $100 seems like a lot to pay for one ticket, but you can split one with friends!

We are also holding a silent auction the same evening. We've already received a nice variety of items, many of which would make terrific holiday gifts. So far they include: 4 Adult Round Trip Gondola Sky Rides at the Stowe Mountain Resort, a 2014/2015 Bash Badge at Smugglers’ Notch, pottery, quilt, framed paintings by Vermont artists, discount card valued at over $600 at AutoCraftsmen, 3 hours of light gardening in the spring in central VT, massage, books, vintage glass, gift cards at local shops and businesses, gift box of maple products, gift boxes from Cabot Creamery Cooperative, handmade jewelry, pies from the Wayside, and more!

Both events begin at 5:00 at the Canadian Club in Barre on Friday, November 14. Dinner reservations for the raffle are required by October 30. Consider stopping by for just the silent auction.
