This weekend is the Spring Open Studio Weekend in Vermont, where many artist studios are open to the public. While my personal studio will NOT be open, there are many in the area that you won't want to miss!
In Castleton, Karen Deets stained glass at 728 Moscow Rd and Stragnell metal artwork at 97 South Street will be open.
In Brandon, the Brandon Artists Guild will feature artist demonstrations throughout the weekend. Come and see Bonny Dutton (weaver/fabric art), Don Perdue (sculpture), Ashley Wolff (painting), Muffy Kashkin Grollier (needlefelting), MaryFran Lloyd (abstract art) and Lynn Austin (painting) show you how they create their amazing artwork! You can also view all of the other artwork at the Guild, and maybe even visit local Brandon artists Judith Reilly (fabric art) and Caleb Kenna (photography). There is so much to see, but you will have the entire weekend to explore and meet Vermont artists. We have so much talent in our state!
