My husband and I were very interested in the Meeting sponsored by Valerie Mullin along with Fred Baser, Harvey Smith, and Dr. Emmons at the Bristol American Legion Post #19.

I understand there is a debate between Valerie, Fred, David Sharpe and Michael Fisher as cited in the Posting Subject. A large amount of information that has not been previously provided to the public was discussed last evening. I would heartily encourage the voters to listen and participate in this upcoming session. I must say it was refreshing not to have to listen to all the political rhetoric and still not have a straight answer. There are some individuals who can give you an answer without avoiding the subject.

Interesting information came out about Vt. Health Care Connect and the Vermont Care Board which include an individual whose area of interest is economics and not a medical professional. The question I have is "Why is the public not going to be aware of how this will be paid for and also how it will affect you if you are on Medicare or Medicaid until after the election is held?" Also, II don't want some Government Organization (Federal or State) dictating how my health care is dealt with (I want medical decisions to be made by "MY" doctor and with my concurrence or my family's input if I am unable to make that decision. There was also discussion about our privacy in relation to our health records. Thanks for taking time to read this and time to attend the session--I'm sure it will be worth your time and effort. Then you can make an informed decision--not just vote for someone you always voted for.
